Sheffield City – EGSY

This is a converted and very heavily edited MSFS scenery, originally by Birdman (AKA Robin) of airfieldconstructiongroup.org, Depicting Sheffield City Airport sometime shortly before it (sadly) closed. It was a small GA airport very close to the M1, however there were some commercial flights in the late 90s when it first opened, which went to Belfast, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Jersey and London with KLMuk, Sabena, BA and Air Arann. There are some attempts currently being made to re-open the airport.
I have re-sized/re-positioned/added pretty much every object in this file, the conversion was a bit messy and somehow everything became 1.5x bigger than it should be.
See the wikipedia article here

Thanks to Birdman for permission and the original file, the team behind OpensceneryX, and Laminar for default objects.
